Premiering at WonderCon -- THIS WEEKEND!
Dax Movenhaven: Trials and Tribulations Vol. #1

On sale! In print! Exclusively at WonderCon!

Exclusive for 3 days. Then it will go on sale other places. Digital download edition to follow next week after the convention wraps up.

But seriously, stop by WonderCon. Dax Movenhaven: Trials and Tribulations Vol. #1 reprints the 2014 comic strips from the Dax blog, along with new and exclusive comic strips that can only be found in this new print edition. NEVER to be seen on this blog or reprinted anywhere else. And there are at least 5 new comic strips.

If that's not enough, I will be signing copies for people that buy them. Still not enough?! Okay, I'll throw in a fill-in-the-blank Dax cartoon as well. Write your own joke, or else ask and Dax will do it for you. For the purposes of this example I guess I should warn you and say that Dax is a cartoon character and it will actually be me filling in the joke. But whatever. You could probably figure that part out yourself.

I will be setting up on Friday, at Booth 873 with the Comic Makers of LA. Then I'll be moving to Artists' Alley to sign copies of another new book of mine The Feather, along with illustrator Hillary Bauman. Hillary will be setting up in Artists' Alley at table C-16

For maps and booth locations, look HERE.

More Dax comic strips are available HERE.

The Feather is also available on Kindle, although you won't get the stunning new artwork there. Yet.

The Feather short story edition is also available for Kindle HERE.

Along with the new Dax comic book, I'll also have new fliers and giveaways and some brand new 2-panel gags as seen below:

I'll also be at the Comic Creator Connection Friday night ,where I'll be meeting lots of great artists and writers. Let me know if you're planning on going and we can talk about new ideas and upcoming projects.

http://www.comic-con.org/wca/creator-connection

The Comic Creator Connection event is a great place to network and make new industry contacts. My work on Tony Pitch Comics came from meeting the publisher / creator at this event at WonderCon.

Last year I was asked to speak at the Comic Creator Connection All-Stars Panel at San Diego Comic Con. Toucan Learning Systems hosts the Creator Connection event, and they have recently posted the FULL audio recording of the panel. It was a great panel, featuring advice and experiences from writers and artists, talking about how they met and how they made their books happen.

Listen to the audio HERE.

Featured projects and creators:

Tony Pitch Comics by Martin Ayala and Matthew Fischer
The Heroes of Echo Company by Joseph Henson and Joshua Cassara
Gamemasters by Michael Dismuke and Susan Cheng Tsui (Susan couldn't join us for the panel)
The Centennial, Stories of Ithiria by April Wahlin, cover art by Mark Whittaker
