I met artist and illustrator Michelle Joy Montrose this year at the Comic
Creator Connection Event at San Diego Comic Con. Michelle introduced me to the artist challenge Inktober and was interested in collaborating with me on a similar styled project. We agreed upon our own challenge where every day I would write a story and every day she would illustrate it.
As the month wraps up and we finish our 31 stories and illustrations, we have decided to post a few online together on a separate blog specifically dedicated to the project.
Those stories are available here: Dark Elements.
The first story posted is entitled Caged, which was actually the fourth story we worked on together.
We will post several more illustrated stories on the Dark Elements page and I will post several other stories on this site as well. And at the end of the month hopefully we will be able to create a small, spooky anthology.
Enjoy!
